Understanding Ringo Top

Most players misinterpret Ringo for a weak laner. But as a matter of fact, his abilities, namely, Achilles Shot, Twirling Silver and Hellfire Brew add a lot of punch to him. His passive, that is, Double Down is an essential component in his success.
Beware of his low health and energy at level 1... Always have a few Halcyon potions to back you up. Do not use Achilles Shot as a farming tool. It deals a lot more damage due to the excessive crystal power. Use it to slow and deal a lot of damage.

Understanding his items Top

I have especially picked up some great items for Ringo. They are as follows:
Sorrowblade
Shatterglass
Journey Boots
Alternating Current
Tornado Trigger
Clockwork

One might question my idea of having Tornado Trigger and Alternating Current. If you see the latter, you can see that every other basic attack deals 115% of your crystal damage. To get maximum benefit out of this I combined it with Tornado Trigger. Rest of the items are self-explanatory.

Reaction to opponent laners Top

Some of the other laners that you might have come across are as follows:

Skye
A weak opponent. If she is on the lane consider upgrading Twirling Silver and Achilles Shot side by side. Attack her when your Double Down perk is ready. This will ensure the first crit. Follow it up with an Achilles Shot and with no delay, Twirling Silver, If she starts to escape, finish her with Hellfire Brew. Have a few Halcyon Potions to assist you in early game.

SAW
Beware! He can crumble Ringo. Your only hope against this menace is that when he shoots Suppressing Fire, move out of his way, and then do the same as what was done to Skye. Halcyon Potions are a must in the early game.

Skaarf
Do the same as what was done to Skye... But be wary of his Spitfire and Goop ability.

Ringo
Now, there is a change of plans. Start with a Crystal Bit and a couple of Halcyon Potions. Upgrade Achilles Shot rather than Twirling Silver in the beginning. Do the same as Skye.

Celeste
An incredible nightmare in the game, but her moves are predictable. So keep moving and landing blows. Your best friend? Hellfire Brew!!!

Vox
With Vox, consider building Crucible instead of Tornado Trigger. It is almost impossible to defeat him without your team mates.

Joule
I'd ask you to maintain your distance. Consider starting the game with a Crystal Bit. Upgrade Achilles Shot first.
