Hi, I don't actually think that the 1.14 Breaking Point kills Tank Glaive. I usually play with this build: Tyrant's Monocle, Breaking Point, Boots, Crucible, Aegis, Metal Jacket/Atlas Pauldron. Usually one auto attack does enough damage to build up one stack. If all enemies are going CP/WP, you can also replace the Aegis/MJ/AP with a Sorrowblade.
I start off with a Weapon Blade, then I buy Boots, Swift Shooter, Lucky Strike, Dragonheart and tier one armor/shield. Then I'll rush Tyrant's Monocle, after that I'll buy a Heavy Steel and upgrade to Blazing Salvo. Then, depending on the enemy, I'll either buy one tier 3 defense item or upgrade to Breaking Point. I also buy Travel Boots quite quickly since Glaive is with tier 1 boots IMO a little bit slow .
This build works great for me, how about you?
Actually I've been seeing Glaive more in 1.14 I've just been saying all the most current content in this guide is outdated after the changes. While I may remake this guide with less of a stride towards breaking point as Glaive is still good in 1.14, it wouldn't be much a good guide as I don't play him with the standard and the skill as I did before and I'd much rather play other characters like Vox, Skye or even blackfeather. Although I will try out your build out and probably remake this guide, providing a statement in the process about how I will not work on this guide and it won't be as detailed as before or as useful or unique.
I just don't like BP tank builds at all though anymore because,
A) Not enough damage output from BP.
B) If armour is built you need piercing to get damage from BP.
C) when buying piercing BP and a damage item is needed your not tanky and can't stack for long without getting melted. Which is three items breaking point becomes useless as I've just said if you only stack 1 - 5 stacks you benefit more from other damage sources and don't need to rely on staying alive to get higher damage.
It is ridiculous, how can someone as Koshka kill Glaive? Stun her, block with reflex block her ultimate (it is very easy, you just need some reflex xD) and then melt her HP.... With my build you have likely 100% Crit Chances, you are tank and you have a lot of damage too. It is not expensive, so you can buy very early some Infusions ;)
Spam able aftershock will melt you. Especially as a Tanky Glaive. Seriously. But yeah my countering on heroes is a little inaccurate but don't worry I'll be making chapters on every characters then pasting them. I wrote all the counters for characters in rushed time.
And yes your build may have high Crit but that is extremely risky because the enemy will obvisiously build armour up against you because this is a build for high and low elo. Then you'll only have room for one defensive item which in your choice seems to be crucible. When that happens as a WP jungle MELEE carry you'll get melted by the enemy team. Especially considering your build I'm assuming your put up against CP Joules and Saws often. You will get melted. My build is made for being reliable against all opponents at all times if you know how to play it right.
Enjoy the build guys. I will be working on this guide for a while and it's down yet so stay tuned for updates on this. Disagree with me or have any suggestions. Shoot me a private message c:
Good build, but what if they focus you? Bp should has tank items too... But your build is not tank so if they focus you BP will be useless and you will just die :)
hope I could help you a little bit ;)
My builds are tank doe. Core 4 is just the risky one. Every other one will be very tanky. So no sadly you didn't help and you alerted to me on something I do everyday. If you are referring to support glaive, in that case yes it will work but I prefer jungle glaive because you don't need to sell a defensive item for your BP to be viable and actually do a decent amount of damage. Or you could get your WP carry to build Bonesaw and then they would pierce for you and allow you to wreck with your BP.
Take a look at core 5. In my opinion it the most reliable.
