Hello, the Great Heroes of Halcyon Fold! I welcome and embrace you to my Crystal Adagio Build. If you have any suggestions or disagreements, comment below! I'll get back to you ASAP!
Just a fair warning, I'm not the best Adagio Player, I just want to spread my knowledge to those who wants to master him.
Quick Q & A: Top
Q: Why do you choose Crystal Power, and not Weapon Power?
A: Well, look. The Heal Amount and the Attack Boost of Adagio's
Gift of Fire and
Agent of Wrath scales with Adagio's Crystal Power. I'm not sure with the burn damage of the
Arcane Renewal heroic perk but I think it scales with Crystal Power too. Of course, I'm not saying it's not powerful if you have very little Crystal Power, either. So then I thought: Hmmm, why not give Adagio some skill cool down reduction, so the cooldown for the skills will be pretty short. Then, if you get some Crystal Power, wouldn't you be OP? I'm not saying Weapon Power isn't good. It's just that for example if you are in danger of dying, if you are using Crystal Power, you can heal a lot while being chased down with your first skill. However, Weapon Power won't really boost your heal and you might die. Secondly, Adagio's heroic perk can burn any living object. Now, if you use Weapon power, your burn won't be as effective as using Crystal Power.
Here is a list of the Pros and Cons ...
WEAPON POWER Top
Pros:
- Nice burst
- High normal attack damage even if no skills are used
That's really all I can think of, please tell me more of the Pros in the Comment Section! Thanks!
Cons:
- Lesser burn damage of heroic perk
- Lesser Attack Damage boost of second skill
- Lesser Heal Amount of first skill
- Lesser AOE damage of
Verse of Judgement ( I'm actually not sure, but I think it is. If it isn't, please tell me. Thanks. )
CRYSTAL POWER Top
Pros:
- Nice burst
- High burn damage of heroic perk
- High Attack Damage boost of second skill
- High Heal Amount of first skill
- High AOE damage of third skill ( As I said, I'm not sure about this one! )
Cons:
Less Attack Damage if second skill is not active
( Can't find more! Tell me in the comments section! Thanks! )
Don't get me wrong Weapon Power Users, WP Adagio is still pretty good! It's just my opinion that CP Adagio is better. :)
C.P. ADAGIO BUILD Top
This is just my build, go ahead and change it if you like!
Get everything accordingly.
-
Alternating Current
Why that first? Because the Secret of Adagio is to build some attack speed, and some armor if you like! Attack Speed + Cooldown Reduction + Crystal Power = Abusing of the skills = OP
-
Clockwork
Cooldown Reduction, don't forget, man! The item also gives some good balance anyways.
-
Aftershock
Why? It gives a good deal of burst damage! Also with Cooldown Reduction it is seriously OP, because all you gotta do is spam skills. Also, it gives you lifesteal for your first attack after using a skill. It will let you survive longer, because even if you have your heal, you still need some lifesteal to deal with pesky burst damages.
Now, get either
-
Eve of Harvest first
Get this if you found yourself always low in health, even though you keep healing! It gives you lifesteal and will probadly help in duels.
OR
-
Shatterglass first
Get this if you need more damage or heal amount for the skills, because if you find your enemies dealing more damage than you or surviving longer than you, that's not good!
Whichever option you choose, get the other option after you got the option you choose!
-
Journey Boots
No need to discuss why you get this, because obviously this is for chasing or running or just trying to walker faster than your teammate cat Koskha.
That's my build for now! I will post any changes for this build in the comments!
Skill Combinations Top
I am sure most of you know the easy and basic ones, so I'll only show the advanced ones!
First Combination
1st:
Agent of Wrath ( Goto a bush, use it, then start hitting your target! )
2nd: Use Boots ( When he's running, use it to chase him down by standing beside him! )
3rd:
Gift of Fire ( Slow him down! )
4th:
Agent of Wrath ( If you have low Cooldown, you should be able to already use it again. )
Difficulty: Medium
Second Combination
1st:
Agent of Wrath ( Kill him! )
2nd: Sidestep ( When he starts running, catch up to him by sidestepping! However, make sure you can outrun him. )
Difficulty: Medium
Third Combination
1st: Use Boots ( Get beside your enemy! )
2nd:
Gift of Fire ( Slow him down! )
3rd:
Agent of Wrath ( No explanations needed, right? )
4th: Chase ( Outrun him! )
5th:
Gift of Fire ( Nothing to say. )
6th:
Verse of Judgement ( If he is like, half health. )
7th:
Agent of Wrath ( He's probably dead. )
Difficulty: Hard
This one is very confusing, and I would not suggest you try it unless you must kill him quickly to escape oncoming reinforcement.
TACTICS Top
- Sidestepping ( For Chasing )
- Last Hitting ( For laning )
- Bush-Ultimates
For Bush-Ultimates, what I mean is to use your ultimate (
Verse of Judgement ) while in a bush. If used correctly, your enemies cannot see your ultimate ( The ring, you know? ) and that can be useful for some surprise attacks. Also useful for stealing important objectives like Kraken.
LANING Top
Just last hit. That's literally it. But also, watch out for a wild Koskha that might gank you! Put bombs at the bushes near the lane so you will know if any wild pesky little cat... I mean... if anybody comes. Tip: Best to lane alone!
JUNGLING Top
If you want, minimize damage. Walk around while hitting every second. It is very hard to not get hit by the minion once, but I believe it has been done before. Also, be daring. INVADE. ALL THE TIME. JUST DO IT. Anyways, don't go too deep into the enemy jungle though. Just take away the three minions near the Gold Mine during the early games and you will have a head start!
If you need some last hitting or farming for experience advices, go visit my other guide. But stay tuned, I will be making a new one soon!

Tips For Fighting Against Different Heroes Top
SAW: Stun him before he unleash his 12 stacks of
Spin Up heroic perk or his explosive potato gun on you!
Ringo: Constant healing to ensure his high damage won't kill you!
KOSKHA: Not really dangerous, but watch out for her skill shot, it deals a lot damage. Basically, never let her get close to you.
Petal: Why kill such a cute and adorable thing? But still, watch out for her pets! Make sure you burn them to ashes!
Glaive: His
Afterburn knock back can be deadly. Make sure he don't catch up to you and just constantly hit him.
Catherine: The
Merciless Pursuit stun can be annoying. If you get stunned, use
Gift of Fire to slow her down. Wait till her
Stormguard is down before you use
Agent of Wrath.
Adagio: Just keep thinking your ' brother ' is the evil one, and your the good one. Only the strongest and the best shall stand strong! Anyways, watch out for his slow, it can lead to a stun. So if you see him coming closer to you, back away!
That is it for my CP Adagio Guide! I will add everything I missed out on in the comments section and also will answer your questions if you have any. Sorry for the long Guide, but i wanted to make sure the Adagio Players learn everything from me.
