The Start Top
At the start of the game you should buy a Crysatl Bit and two
Halcyon Potion the Crystal Bit will give you the extra damage in fights, and energy is not really a problem if you dont spam
Spitfire.
Goop should be picked up second as it has the wave clear and the extra burn, with it you maybe able to kill you enemy laner, but be careful, becuase if he dies then there may be a gank.
Once you have you
Void Battery then you can start to use your abilitys more frequantly. Also pick up two
Scout Trap and put one in you lane bush and the enemys. These
Scout Trap wil save you from ganks that would other wise end in your death (unless you dont move -.-). However if there is a stunner get a [reflex block] instead of a [void battery].
You want to focus on getting your
Spitfire] to level 4 and then going for your
Goop. Getting you
Spitfire up faster allows for you to have a stronger poke that is also somewhat safe.
Mid Game Top
Once you have you
Eve of Harvest you can now freely spam your abilitys! at this point dont overdirve you
Spitfire and instead start going for the overdrive on your
Goop. Overdriving the
Goop makes it's damage insane and you can take on most fights if you use your
Goop correctly. If you get the [reflex block] then start to turn it into a crucible after your [shatterglass].
After the
Eve of Harvest I would get
Sprint Boots and start building to a
Shatterglass. The movement from the sprintboots allows for some fast get aways, the shatterglasss will allow for more damage and then that will add up to higher crystal life steal from the
Eve of Harvest.
If you feel way to squish start building to your
Fountain of Renewal right away, you dont want to feed and get under fed your self.
Late Game Top
Ok, now you are in the late game. If you have been doing well you should have a
Eve of Harvest a
Shatterglass a pair of
Travel Boots and be almost there to a
Broken Myth. If you are not near this point there isnt much you can do to recover, but pray you team mates carry you.
Once you get your
Broken Myth start building to a
Fountain of Renewal (if you havent already). When is it finished you should be able to live along time with the effect of the
Fountain of Renewal and your
Eve of Harvest life steal.
If you get your second
Eve of Harvest there isnt much that can stop you, the life steal is crazy and if you are againt a stunner then you should have built a
Crucible. From here its just winning the game.
Frostburn Top
Frostburn is and item that skaarf can use to chase and escape, but it is very game dependant. If you are having trouble getting the kill then maybe get a
Frostburn if you are struggling to survive a gank maybe get a
Frostburn. The item really is just player dependant, your choice!
Taka, in my opinion is Skaarf's biggest threat, along with
Koshka. When you are going against a
Taka make sure to
ALWAYS have a
Scout Trap in the enemy bush. If you don then you risk death from him. He has good burst and you cant run if he is a smart
Taka (a smart taka against a skaarf means he doent start the fight with the ult, and uses it to chase you instead). The only time you may escape a
Taka is if you are within range of your turret, but if he is CP then you will probably die instantly.
Killing
Taka late game isnt much of a problem if you dont get ***aninated by him, drop the
Goop and burn him, he is really squishy so he will die about 80% of the time.
Koshka Top
Koshaka is with
Taka (in my opinion) the most dangerous hero for
Skaarf. She has insane burst and is probable the strongest early game hero there is. The damage boost from her
Twirly Death combined with her ability to chase you with her
Pouncy Fun makes her very hard to counter. If she had her ult,
Yummy Catnip Frenzy then you will most likely die to her. Like
Taka place scout traps in the enemy bush and yours so that you can see her and get away. Dont fight her early game! You WONT get away.
Dealing with her late game is about getting her in your
Goop and setting her alight, put
Goop at you feet so she used either her ult of her
Pouncy Fun into the
Goop from this if you auto attack her and get the burn you ill most likely kill her.
Skins! (Opinionated) Top
I know this isnt really going to help your game play but I want to share how I feel about the skins (opinionated). Infinity
Skaarf 1, I think is amazing, i love the blue and how the skin makes him feel like hes grown up.
Infinity
Skaarf 2, I think is better than his number 1 skin. They made him cuter than his tier 1 and normal skin, and i got
Skaarf becuase he was cute and he was a dragon, so his tier 2 skin reflects why i got him in the first place.
