High WP build with nice consistent damage and very high mobility.

Focus on good laning habits. Keep you plasma stacked when enemy hero is around, otherwise you'll burn through your energy easily. Purchase your Journey boots first to escape ganks/chase. Don't forget that your plasma also resets your basic so stutter stepping might be a bit more difficult if you spam bolts.

Pay attention to how your team is doing vs. enemy. If you're on the losing side, focus Shiv. If winning, then focus Spellsword for that must needed energey regen and for that massive WP boost. Afterwhich, I'd suggest some sort of defense. Check the situational items and pick one based on enemy composition/builds. You can't really go wrong with picking Slumbering Husk everytime. You see lots of blue, choose Slumbering Husk. If they are bursty, Slumbering Husk. If you keep getting stunned/silenced out, choose Aegis. If you happen to be getting on the later side of the game for teamfights, I'd suggest FoR.
Late Game Top
The Core items speak for themselves. Sling those Plasma bolts. Utilize your boots/dash for the chases and escapes. Don't forget your dash + bolt makes long ranged "ice" spear of death. Don't be afraid to use your ult without maxed stacks of tracers as it will still do nice damage with just a couple to take out those deserters that you can't safely engage. Late game items are also self explanatory. I play fairly cautious so Tension Bow fits my play style better than Bonesaw for Armor Piercing. You may want to sub it out depending on your style. If you happen to come across an enemy team that didn't build much armor, by all means swap out Tension Bow for an extra Tyrant's Monocle

Stick to team fights as you are quite squishy. Plink away with your bolts and bolt your way to victory (hopefully)
