I read somewhere about this, but it hasn't happened to me until now. Once I got great karma, it has never downgraded to good karma. I try to keep it that way. If I lose, at least, two games one after another, I take a break. It serves my competitive side no good if I'm to keep playing while extremely frustrated. It happens to me in many games I've played. If I spend all night losing, some rest or some entertaining substitute always turns my losing streak around. I don't know about anyone else, but desertion has become the norm in a lot of games lately. Just last night, my friend had 4 games, back to back, where someone has deserted his team. Alright, I'm getting pretty tired of people deserting the match. I'd probably say that someone goes AFK, at least, once every 5 matches I play in (and it happens to be one of my teammates 4 out of 5 times). It's annoying and frustrating. There really needs to be a bigger penalty for desertion. I mean, I want this penalty to have a larger impact to sway people from going AFK. I would say maybe a bit more range. Make it an even 6. I'll be content with that. It's hard to lane with someone who is outraged by every ranged hero in the collection. She's squishy and harassed in lane.

I don't know if it positioned everyone into Good Karma after the update, but all that hard work getting to karma level 20 pretty much died as soon as I was placed back into a karma tier without any bonus glory.
