Clockwork is so expensive now since it amplifies your cp damage which synergies really well with Broken Myth so it's more of an offensive item now.

I would highly recommend a clockwork in most builds because of the CD and amplified damage. Also, in the CD madness build, auto attacks no longer give you cooldown so just get a clockwork and an aftershock or something.

Blackfeather isn't like one of those heroes can can go on with 1 defensive item. He is a melee hero and is going to be in the middle of everything. He will probably need at least 2 defensive items to counter them unless the enemy builds no defense either.
