It's game dependent, but more importantly, it's hero and playstyle dependent. For example, Taka is going to be good with aftershock no matter how you build him. Maybe not better than tension bow early game for example, but still pretty good.

Tension bow doesn't deal true damage. I attacked with the passive against a monster, if it was true damage that should have added 150 or something damage, instead it only added 80.

If you're using alternating current like tension bow (only for the first hit damage), it does less damage than shatterglass in a X-retsu>Kaiten>Autoattack combo unless you have something like 2 shatterglasses. It's also difficult to make it so that your first attack will do it because that involves attacking a minion and then waiting when you could be last-hitting. I get the impression you also like it for the attack speed on it, so it could be good. But the way I play taka they or I...

Only things I think this guide is missing is: A) A comparison between what build is better at what. This could be done because with taka, usually you just want burst damage. If Blazing Hands of Doom does less damage than Crystal X-Retsu in a X-retsu -> Kaiten -> Autoattack combo , it's pointless because they both focus on improving that damage, but Crystal X-retsu is more instant because it focuses on spells and Tension Bow disables when you attack minions. B) Tornado trigger...

Yes, but a lot of the time in lore or whatever there's a "nine-tailed fox" By the way, I really don't like this build. I don't know what playstyle you have, but buying a clockwork when you already have 5 energy regen per second (from frostburn) isn't a good idea in most of them. It has so little AP, it's like you didn't buy rabbadon's. :3

A hybrid build that randomly switches to shatterglass late game, which has no synergy with the rest of the build. If it was worth it to buy shatterglass after you have all weapon power items that don't synergize with it at all, why wouldn't you just spam them from the start? Downvoted.

Lol yeah most of these guys don't bother, but I think it's kind of fun (slightly). That was 30-ish% more damage btw. Not crazy, but usually worth the trouble. Also, with the same combo as above, aftershock adds more damage to it than shatterglass against basically anyone after level 7, is 50% (!) better than shatterglass against a late-game glaive or anyone else with a defensive item, and on top of that gives the same energy regen and half the cooldown acceleration that clockwork...

Strangely, this item is 30% less efficient than hourglass. So don't hold on to it if you can avoid it, unless you have a specific reason.

Wow, I calculated it out and tension bow is so efficient with taka that (assuming its extra damage can crit, you haven't procced it recently, and the enemy has equal armor and shields) it adds 127 more damage to a X-retsu > Kaiten > Autoattack combo than shatterglass. Interesting. Still situational though, because you have to autoattack which is harder than just spamming skills :P

Also, I tested it out and if you buy a tornado trigger, you will attack faster than your passive crit at max ki can proc, even if you don't have any other AS items. That's basically why I don't like weapon taco; but his regen build looks interesting.
