There are no hints when a new update will come, and there aren't any promises there will be a new hero in this update. BUT. They are working on THREE new heroes that are all connected in their backstory! They won't be released all at the same time, but eventually! I have heard a rumor we might get one before new years! But I highly doubt that will happen.

No, they do not have the same speed. The upgraded boots give .5 more speed like you said, and when you upgrade, there's always a noticeable difference in your characters basic speed.

I believe there is one on these Forums, but on the main forums, which I'll give a link if you'd like it, (or maybe you can find it yourself) has a Guild hall. 2. They likely will soon implant a chat for pre-made parties in all regions, so if you find or add people from Forums you'd like to play with, you can chat before....
