Don't target alpha at the start of the fight. She'll just soak up damage which could be dealt to their Carry. Target the alpha after their Carry is dead. I personally don't like grumpjaw He's a bit too slow and has a hard time diving turrets to secure kills and getting back out alive But this is just personal preference It's probably not his intended playstyle :P

How I like to think of it is that your rank does not really matter, it's just a number after all. All that matters is learning something after the match about YOURSELF and how YOU can improve and not how your teammates were complete noobs that threw the match Take ranked matches as a learning experience, just like any other casual match

Er just for the record catherine is not a Carry and Carries actually have a huge impact on the game, maybe you are behind on farm so you don't have items and don't feel like you're dealing enough damage. I love ardan as my roam :D His gauntlet can easily bait out enemy reflex blocks, if they don't use them then a ranged character can safely whack them on the other side of the wall. ardan is a more aggressive roam and can dive a ton of turrets with his massive health pool and julia's gift. I personally don't care about her boomstick When stutter stepping you can squeeze in 2+ shots before her perk gets back up(200%+ wp basically instead of 145% wp) It's only good when farming :/
