It's generally agreed that Skaarf and Celeste became a lot more powerful after the update. Whether or not they are "totally unbalanced" is a question that's up for debate. You mention that Skaarf has warhorn and four fountains - that means that as far as I'm concerned, that guy is crazily susceptible to crystal damage. ^^ as many have already mentioned, Skarrf is incredibly squishy even in late game. His ult has a huge loading time and he happily announces to the whole Halycon Fold that he's going to cast his ult. Good players will reserve their stuns for exactly when Skarrf tries to cast his ult, and it's pretty easy to block, followed by a very quick takedown because he's not very tanky. I feel like Karma level is an indication of how much you've played, but not necessarily how well you play (not to say that there isn't a correlation between the two, just that the strength of the correlation is not high). One could theoretically lose every single match one played in, but with enough perseverance they would still reach a high Karma level, unless I'm mistaken about the way Karma is awarded.
