On the Core vs Health. Did you mean to put Tyrants Monocle? I was thinking you maybe meant Breaking Point instead.

Also, on the mid-game tips. Minion mines have now changed. There is no gold increase for capturing one mine.

Yes, I did put Tyrants Monocle, for the extra spontaneous burst with the crits, and after all... It is a crit SAW. Yes, breaking point also works, but you have to make sure that you can stay in fights long enough for it to work. You are thinking more a Ringo build as well.

And thank you for reminding me about the minion mine change, I haven't updated it yet with the update :(.

Also, I did have a breaking point with the tyrants monocle in the build vs. health, even though it was not in the core. It is only viable if you are in the fight for long enough.

I've started using SAW for practice. Your build is nicely planned, but what I did is that I replaced the second Serpent Mask to Metal Jacket or Atlas Pouldron. If you see a lot of crystal items on the enemy's builds, I recommend Aegis, for shield against crystal damage.

Yes, defense is still very important with SAW, what I like to do is start defense before serpents if possible. Again, this guide is general, people are supposed to adjust to what works for them. That is the point of most guides on VGF.

Just wanted to say thank you for this build. It's a big improvement from the CP saw I was running in 1.8. This SAW plus 1.9 dominated, I will say I did die a lot often in rounds where I didn't have a true tank. However I was able to build as listed Atleast a minute or two early from each listed time even with deaths. It's amazing how important it is to let your lane minions farm be alive for as long as possible to keep your 12 stacks. Just last hitting them and letting your team minions do the work is crucial.
