you need a frostburn because it has void battery.
Without void battery X retsu take too much energy

I tihnk you have the right idea here - burst dps and shorter CDs

Frostburn doesn't seem that useful for Taka since you already have escapes, and your damage comes in bursts. Aftershock would be AMAZING with all that crystal power, and give a little recharge, and shorter cooldowns.
