I prefer to think as a very skilled taka and I came here thinking that this guide was trash but it actually outlines a majority of play styles that I incorporate. I did however see a problem. You said that one could go around to enemy and engage again with an X-Retsu if they are fleeing. DO NOT DO THAT. That leaves you way too exposed. Rather just attack them and combo with a kaiten to get away. Another problem is you overdrived kaiten. While that does have its advantages for mana preservation of you are building CP taka due to the new update you should probably overdrive the Kaku. Your mana usage will be less forgiving but thank me later when you can jump in and out of fights repeatedly due to your insane healing. Lastly it is best to engage with Kaku, lash with a crit basic, and use kaiten and X Retsu as a distance closer to finish the enemy off. That way it is more ninja-y and cool. :D.
I wouldn't initiate with kaku. Kaku is mainly used for getting away or just regening helath while you wait for abilities to come off cooldown. Also how does engaging with X-Retsu leave you exposed? You csn just kaiten back over them and kaku away. Just saying.
