Spamming is always bad. Always. The only thing it will achieve is making your teammate fantasize about breaking all your fingers. Beyond that, you could be better spending your time if you ping once and then resume playing strategically if alive or analyzing the enemy builds and thinking about counters (if dead).
Ping once, favor "GO" over "AVOID" by a wide margin. It is much better to tell people what you want them to do than what you want them not to do, just common sense.
"AVOID" is okay if you are pointing out an ambush or an unwinnable battle, but it is a poor choice in most situations.
Sometimes "AVOID" could be helpful if you expect enemies to ambush your team. Enjoyspite, you do give the title a bit more sense.
