It's sad that the first guide I looked up on this site for the first hero I legit tried to learn is gone ( or will be). I might have switched Jungle mains since then but Koshka will always have a special place in my heart.
Is this the end of the koshka mains?Since ive started vainglory the first hero i found that suits my playstyle was koshka. As koshka's core items nerfed and with countermeasures like slumbering husk and aegis in place it has become really hard to menace the enemy team . Can you recommend a new hero to play as of now i am having to struggle in ranked matches with the very low diversity of heroes i have.
She was crowned the aftershock queen moments aftaer beinng released, having the cooldown reduction on her B skill when around the time koshka had all her CDR taken away. She can deal a great burst of damage and heal from it (as well as obtaining stacks). Considerably tankier and can go two paths. Her A is also nice, and allows you to jump over walls, without the problems of needing vision. She has no strong CC tho
Skye
She can easily jump around like koshka does while dealing consistent but little burst damage. She alligns woth some of koshkas kiting games
Taka and BF
Theyre both assasina with high hurst paths + more escapes + sustain potential
Also, ever since the update ive seen a lot of tanky koshkas running around in ranked matches can i have your thoughts on that?
thats actually pretty normal. IF you were to view my previous games with koshka, I usually ended them before the 20 minute mark. After that, you really lose out on damage so you can only go as a semi carry semi support type of playstyle. Im the worlds, koshka was used as a distractor to let the carry (usually gwen) get BP stacks quickly and safely. If you cannot close games quickly, thats usually one of the options left for you in late game.
While this is a well thought and thorough guide, I disagree with some of the threats. You talk about all of the hreats as if they are 1v1s. Skarrf can reflex block your ult and also has his roamer to help him, and once he gets his ult off, can ace the entire enemy team. Also, Smauel's lifesteal can heal him up and can deal massive damage when you're trying to chase him down and burst you down before you get to him. He can also make your allies fall asleep if you're not careful and if you don't stick with them.

true, I do have some problems keeping the threats updated, I considered skaarf's ult as weak because back then it hardly dealt any damage. Same with samuel. I will work on it after the exams. Thanks!
"Cast you Twirly Death at the 19 second mark, that way, you can quickly apply them to any jungle minion and then recast your skill dealing 4 stacks in one single burst of damage."
could you explain what you mean by one single burst of damage? Isn't it just having your 4 auto attacks damage being boosted for extra cp?
And i usually go with brokenmyth + shatterglass + clockwork + aftershock + halcyon charges + 1 defense item against the enemy team's carry. to me this provides more burst damage to koshka which helps in the assassin that she. noting that in your build(s) for koshka, you recommended 2 defense items rather than that shatterglass, i would like to ask if the help it would provide koshka in being less squishy is more favorable than having more burst damage.

When I said one single burstof damage, I meant just that (and it helps a lot with your clear time)
The more late game we go, the more defensive koshka will have to be. I typically build two defense items since you could be dealing against two carries tgat deal equally a lot of damage and both are worth being focused during ceirtain situations. This is especially true when you consider double ranged-poke carries is quite the meta.
On the account of defense vs offense. I typically find it better to be slightly tankier if it means I can get my BM stacks much more easily, avoid problems when being focused (building armor wont give you a reflex block so...) and having at least one active item as an outplay factor
I use the aftershock + brokenmyth build for koshka, but have never tried buying clockwork. I have to some day!
For that matter, I recommend throwing a shatterglass in place for the brokenmyth for some amazing initial burst, or replace the aftershock with it for a much more consistent damage
Concise and up to date. Finally, someone that has pride in guide maintenance. Wonderful build choices btw.
Thanks~! But honestly, I have so much to update right now, with no cooldown reduction on her auto attacks, I have to clear up literally every section X.X
I would highly recommend a clockwork in most builds because of the CD and amplified damage. Also, in the CD madness build, auto attacks no longer give you cooldown so just get a clockwork and an aftershock or something.

thanks, il keep that in mind, oh god, so much editing to do T^T

Yup I will, but I have to make sure my changes are right because honestly, this is such a big over haul for koshka players :3
I dont know who you are, but Im going to find you and counter you
