When making a team, there is more to just fulfilling all 3 positions as laner, jungler, and support. After I played lots of games each with a different hero, I learned when paired and used correctly, all the heroes on your team can fill in for your weaknesses and increase the effectiveness of your strengths. Let's say for example, Krul Fortress and Saw are together. Saw and Krul aren't exactly the fastest characters on the halcyon fold but they often have insanely high attack speed. With fortress's speed enhancements and bleeding mortal strikes, you can both stay on your enemy while dealing lots of health based heavy damage as a huge insult to injury. My point is although your team fills up all three roles, you can take it further with Hero Synergy. If you want to take it from my guidebook, feel free to read my tips. I'll update them as often as possible. I need time to collect all the heroes, master them, and test everything in some matches.
I decided to start with my first and favorite hero, Joule. Joule is a versatile melee fighter who is good with both weapon and Crystal builds. Sometimes, you can even make her a hybrid if you're creative enough. She comes with free armor that protects her against frontal assaults. This armor doesn't protect her back unfortunately. Her attacks are based on prediction meaning she doesn't need a target to use her abilities. They can even be used to hit enemies who are out of your vision range. However, missing is fatal and it'll be hard to know where to direct your abilities if your enemies are either too fast to hit or out of bison range. She's a double edged sword with fatal strengths and fatal weaknesses. This is why you don't see a lot of Joule Players on the battlefield. Not everyone can be good at predicting the future.
Joule may have all these weaknesses but this attributes to making her synergistic with other heroes. According to my experience, I recommend teaming up Joule with the following heroes.
Celeste: Celeste is weak at close range but packs a punch in a team fight blasting everything from afar. She can scout the battlefield for Joule with her Heliogenisis. Her stun ability can be used in succession with Joule's rocket leap which leads to 2 stuns in a row. Her ultimate is much like Joule's except it blows up on contact instead of piercing through the enemy. Use the ulti mates to deal massive aoe damage leaving the enemy nowhere to run. Celeste finds targets for both of you, then you both take the kill.
Skaarf: The dragon has sight but no vision. But Skaarf is always a good way to pressure the enemy. His damage over time abilities, the slow and DOT of the goop, and his shield piercing ultimate go well with Joule's abilities. Joule can pin down does in the goo with a rocket leap, and they use their ultimates simultaneously resulting in a crazy shield piercing AOE.
Vox: Vox can hit multiple enemies all at once or use decimate a single enemy on his own. He comes with a scout ability and a silencing ultimate. Just like Celeste, Vox finds the enemy then you both take the kill.
