I didn't follow this exactly, but remembered a few of your key points like boots and the tension bow and fared better with a weapon Koshka than I've generally managed to as a crystal.

I was having energy issues so I did buy a few crystal items down the battery path. I've also previously prioritised pouncy over twirly, but twirly first worked well.
