Okay so, let's be real here. I don't want to spend my time, neither do you. So I'm going to summarize everything and enlighten you with my discoveries.

I play LOL, like excessively, and over the years there have been many metas. A big meta was which tanks built full tank and a Black Cleaver. This allowed tanks to have ridiculous survivability whilst also holding lots of damage due to prolonged fights allowing the build up of the items passive. Now, I'm not going to pretend to start this idea, but I've not seen it before;

OK, so, now we all know what the item is, we can see how it fits into the tank build. Due to the only problem with BP being that getting to high stacks is that you're wiped out before even ~5, you need defensive stats. In my experience, this has worked with EVERY SINGLE SUPPORT IN THE GAME. Adagio, Ardan, Catherine, Fortress and Glaive - Not tried any others, yet. Honestly, I don't know what else is to say other than to pull out some maths...

Yey, the fun part...

9 Weapon per stack
5% Crit per stack
5% Crit damage per stack

First and foremost, I'm not going to claim I'm good at maths, so please someone check this...
9*20=180 damage
5%*20=100% crit
5%*20=100% crit damage
100% crit damage is equivalent to (180 damage)*2=360 damage
360 damage for 2400 gold on Breaking Point - 1 damage for 6.66 gold
150 damage for 3100 gold on Sorrow Blade - 1 damage for 20.66 gold
20.66/6.66 = 3.102102...
And that is for ranged... Now melee!

(20 max stacks)
15*20=300 damage
5%*20=100% crit
5%*20=100% crit damage
100% crit damage is equivalent to (300 damage)*2=600 damage
600 damage for 2400 gold on Breaking Point - 1 damage for 4 gold
150 damage for 3100 gold on Sorrow Blade - 1 damage for 20.66 gold
20.66/4 = 5.1666...
Well damn, this IS insane! Looking at the gold efficiency of a sorrow blade and comparing it to a breaking point shows us that on ranged champions, a BP is
3.102 times more effective and on melee champions, a BP is
5.166 times more effective. Is this enough to justify a BP?
HELL YES.
