Every 5 seconds, Taka's next basic attack is replaced with a Mortal Strike. Mortal Strikes deal 40 (+25% weapon ratio) bonus damage and grant Taka a burst of move speed. Whenever Taka Mortal Strikes or uses an ability, he gains a stack of Ki, which speeds up his Mortal Strike timer by 0.9 secs and grants 25% cooldown speed. (5 Ki stacks max.)

This perk petty much guarantees critical hits
Items like
Tornado Trigger and
Tyrant's Monocle boost the damage dealt by critical hits, making
Taka hit like a Mack truck.

Taka flips over his target, cutting it with his switchblade. Taka is invulnerable to damage & debuffs while in mid-air.

This ability is what I like to call a reflex dodge. It can dodge everything. I once dodged Krul's sword by using this on a minion, if I didn't do that I probably would've died.

Taka throws a smoke bomb at his feet, vanishing from enemy sight and gaining move speed. This illusion ends early if he strikes a target or he takes direct damage. Turrets and Flare Guns can still see Taka. This ability heals Taka while he is invisible.

This got me out of so many situations when playing as Taka. The heal you get and the fact that you can trick your opponent in to thinking you ran away all while surprising them and killing them in seconds.

Taka bursts through his target, carving an X with his switchblades for lethal damage. The target suffers a mortal wound, reducing its healing by 50% and taking damage per second over the next 3 seconds. The wound's duration is refreshed whenever Taka mortal strikes this target. Grants bonus Ki stacks upon use based on number of ability points in X-Retsu.

When using
X-Retsu always use this as your first move then follow up with
Kaiten, after that use
Kaku to heal and wait on your cooldowns then finish your enemy.
Let me tell you something... Top
As you may know
Taka is an assassin. You need to kill enemies before they kill you. That's where items like
Tension Bow and
Aftershock come in. With two burst damage items it will help extremely well when bursting down enemies. He may not do much damage but he really isn't supposed to. Why? Because in team fights he won't last long unless he waits on his cooldowns using
Kaku, even then he still needs to kill enemies fast and run fast (hence
Journey Boots). The
Clockwork gives him 43 Crystal power and cooldown time. This goes hand-in-hand with his heroic perk
House Kamuha.
Recommended Steps Top
Here are some steps that I think will help you when using this build.
Step 1:
I recommend building towards the
Tension Bow since
Taka relies on burst damage to kill heroes.
Side note:
You are an assassin. You're meant to sneak around, which means using
Kaku.
Step 2:
Build to
Aftershock after, build to
Sprint Boots and whatever you want to build next is your choice, take some cooldown items if you want to use
Kaku more often, or Crystal items (
Frostburn or
Shatterglass) if you plan to use
Kaiten and
X-Retsu to bring down opponents quickly, or if you want some weapon buy a
Tornado Trigger and a
Tyrant's Monocle
