To answer your first, don't get hit by him in the first place, burn your boots if you have to.
2. Ping a couple of times and if they still won't you should find some people to play with regularly so they know what to do.

Well then don't invade a one man invade is usually suicide. To get rid of that problem raise your elo or play with friends.
