Yes but I can get breaking point on fortress or ardan and do a better job than krul can with it in terms of sticking to your enemy and survive outside the jungle. If you have a player with vision krul is screwed since he relies on ambushing the enemy moreso then initiating fights. Most krul players (noobs especially) seem to think they're invincible and use no strategy with krul. They charge in headfirst and die.

It also depends on what kind of support you're playing. Contraption is fantastic if you are supporting a laner without a vision ability or who doesn't understand they need to be using heliogenesis/sonic pulse in the bushes and if they're extremely prone to ganks. Like saw. If you do it right your jungler gets free farming for a while cuz you know exactly where your enemies are. Your laner holds off all the ganks with your help (optimally) and your enemies are screwed by the 15 minute mark....

@halcius im afraid your logic is slightly flawed. If stormguard is doing that much damage then the enemy Catherine must have been crystal carrying. Weapon Catherine is very situational and only effective in rare situations I agree completely on that. But stormguarding ultimates is supporting your team more than stunning them is, especially if your stun secures the kill after you stormguard solar storm, hellfire brew or Kamehameha. You just have to have good positioning. Most people don't....

And if Celeste hasn't built boots build some, dash in, use suppressing fire and then finish her with the explosive shots. Her squishiness is her biggest weakness. Her range is her best advantage. Take away her range and you shouldn't have any problem with her. Before level 8 your suppressing fire has longer range than any of her attacks. Poke and harass her with it. I main celeste and usually hate playing against saw.

Support Catherine. Fountain, travel, shiversteel, bp, stormguard. Rona and celeste are both squishy so I don't have problems with them.

Skye is designed to hunt people down. She actually works well in jungle. Especially if you feel like koshka and Taka hunting. She's the finisher in team fights. All she needs is boots and she can hunt a team that's trying to escape with a warhorn. While forward barrage is great for kiting its even better for chasing. Only problem is she lacks the defense to do that very well.

I had a team where I had a Rona build two tension bows. And a Ringo who didn't build defense. I friended them, suggested they change their build and the Rona kills in teamfights now. Noobs don't want to be Noobs. We were all there once. If you try helping them eventually you'll have your own team and guild strong enough to make it to higher tiers. That's how you play vainglory. Have you tried using a shiversteel? Who is your support? Krul should stick with a stun/slow team, phinn, cath, celeste, joule, Ringo, Ardan for gauntlet. krul should also stay in shadow and hunt players. Try starting your build with shiversteel, boots and Salvo and hunt single players. Your support should stun anyone else who could get in your way. Don't go for BP unless you plan on tanking without your abilities. And just a note. You can only build one stack per second with BP. Tornado...

Contraption is a good idea for the cooldown. But by the time you build alternating current you shouldnt be having any trouble farming. Besides, its your supports job to build contraption and stormguard banner. If you're going to crystal glaive, maybe try aftershock. It wouldn't do alot with afterburn but It'd reduce cooldown and work great with twisted stroke since it's considered a standard critical attack. And itd give more purpose than contraption.
