I like Ardan more because he can save teammates from certain death and his abilities usually benefit the team. Fortress is more of an offensive type so it's more about dealing damage than saving teammates. Plus Fortress is labeled as a warrior in-game and Ardan is labeled as protector.

It's not possible. Either it's a glitch, or you're missing something. Maybe the Krul used his Spectral Smite when you used Joule(robot girl)'s your ultimate(ultra) so he regained some health while you were blasting away? I try not to use the question ping at all because people usually associate with WTF, and I believe that you have a higher chance of winning if people are playing with focus and not distracted by anger. I use thumbs up a lot too, but only one, because a couple might signal sarcasm. I'd say that the OMW and Group In Ping are the most important pings in the game. These are the ones with a lot of strategy associated with them and can separate you from victory or defeat.

Sometimes building offensive can make them tanky. For example, take Adagio. The more crystal power he has, the more healing he can provide. Plus, he can boost damage drastically.
