Well in this patch the damage was moved to his abilities and the ult damage was weakened , so sometimes it is better to go A & B route , plus if your opponents know what they are doing when they drop a little bit before half they pop a fountain and then another one after a short period making the damage from the ult useless and you will find yourself in a situation "ult didn't kill enemies , abilities do damage but not enough (since goop isn't overdriven) you will start losing...
