I have been trying out this type of build, but with Clockwork instead of defense. It is a trade-off; I feel like I have to play more carefully but I get more kills on runners and I can escape out of situations then be right back.

I use clockwork in mine to get the CD on Afterburn down to just a few seconds. I usually take this after I have my first two tier 3 weapon items. I think it rocks and most enemies don't expect your Afterburn to refresh that quick. So it makes you more escapable and more deadly. But then again, I ain't an international Champion so what do I know :P

I watched some stutter-step videos. It seems to be a way of exploiting a bug in the Vain Glory server code where you can milk more hits per second out of the game by repeatedly attacking. It's pretty solid but why use potions or any defense powers? What kind of kills are you getting with this?

Well it's a team game. Glaive works best to throw enemies back to his team or turrets, and chase down runners. Aegis is largely pointless because you should never tank with Glaive. I'd rather have a second Sorrowblade or Tornado Trigger :D

We don't need a fourth ping type. Just use the red ping to warn of danger... that's what it's for. People who express your opinions about another person's strategy via the red ping are mis-using it. What we DO need are ping gestures because the little ping buttons are hard to push, esp. on a 5S. Like draw a circle gesture to make the red ping appear on your current spot. But you know if you want to see enemy positions you can always use a flare or minimap, and scroll to your ally.

Yep, I killed an entire enemy team in a single Afterburn one time because they were all three in the lane with about 10% health left each, still going. It was frickin' sweet :D

I totally agree. People honestly get Kraken-crazy. A great player will suddenly act like a noob the second the Kraken spawns. It's mind-boggling. In addition to what others have said before this post, let me add this. Even if Kraken doesn't get sniped from you, during the Kraken fight you and/or your allies will be severely weakened, leaving yourselves open to getting picked off by any living enemy. If at least one of your heroes gets killed, the Kraken does you little good, since now...
