Your attack speed will NOT be faster if you are doing animation canceling(stutter stepping). They fixed those bugs.

Crystal Petal is still usable, just not as strong as a WP petal. Just keep tryin out different builds, i would recomment Frostburn in a crystal build to keep them in range of your munions longer. And I agree with her atk spd nerf you should probably look into something to increase your atk speed.

I have seen instances of this where Taka comes from outside the screen with his Ult across my body and lands outside the screen again. It seems extremely glitchy or is cheating.

You are talking about stutter stepping and it isn't a bug, its a part of the game and here to stay and there are plenty of ways to fix it. He was kiting you hence why you couldn't get close enough, one of the easiest ways to handle this for starters, don't go head to head with SAW thats your ranges job. As far as gear that can help you, Atlas Pauldron is a great counter to this as it slows down his attack speed by 65% making his stutter step and AS go way down. Hope this helps a little....
