Good point, I agree this build situational to an extent as you can change your build to cater to your team's needs. I prefer broken myth as it gives the shield pierce and amplification. I see your point with the shatter glass and that certainly can be built if you are eluting at the beginning of team fights, however, I usually find that my carry initiates and then my support comes in and I come in last when everyone if grouped up and focusing on them.
