Honestly, I kinda wish they really did bring him into the game... He'd be OP, but I think that they could make him work... maybe for a one-man army gamemode. Did anyone data mine the APK for this update to find out if he'd in the code?

As a Taka main, I am plagued by the issue in which noobs rush pick Taka even after I pre-select Taka and set my position. This action usually won't bother me if they have a skinned Taka (because that probably means they are not noobs).
