I don't think it would work? For the CP and WP specific perks (increased range on B verses reduced/removed cast time on B, for instance) all have a threshhold amount that you need to cross. And it's pretty hard to get those perks going unless you fully commit to one. Also, a critical problem with building hybrid on any hero is that until you are extremely weak until you have all the items set up; If you went a Tyrant's right after your Sorrowblade on Kestral, you'd be gaining more WP, Crit...

I think that the new Journey Boots are great on Taka. The most fun I've ever had on him was in Battle Royal, full build (Shatterglass, After Shock, Clock Work, Aegis, Frostburn), and boots on a 12 second cooldown. They just cannot stick to you, because you hit, disappear, and by the time they realize that they're out of health, you're in a bush waiting for cooldowns. The new passive it grants you (resets boot cooldown to 12 seconds if you auto attack an enemy hero) is really fun to work with.

Glaive's B (After Burn) is just so good. The thing is, I don't really see the point in playing him lane... he's just better in the Jungle. I get moving Lane heroes into the jungle (u get farm more consistantly, for the most part); for example, putting Black Feather in the Jungle (actually really good in my opinion). But if they're made for the Jungle, they really are just good in the jungle. The scariest thing as a laner is seeing Glaive walk up to bush and it's too late...

As convenient as a contraption is, I think it's super gold inefficient. I do agree that they should be buying flares though. It really, really matters especially late game when you're standing around kraken or just doing anything late in the game. Scout traps later in the game seem to drop in utility, but flares really are important. However, I think it's much better to just keep buying flares (they're super cheap) and just get tankier.

Really in depth guide! Loved it. I've also fallen in love with Samuel (I bought him with glory the second I could), and have been looking into different builds. I have one question about the Eve of Harvest. I still think it's a great first item on Samuel, particularly because it's cheap compared to the other items. And with all the lifesteal that Samuel comes with, isn't it better to be able to amp that CP lifesteal? I think that his lifesteal can help him make up for his lack of an escape.

They did change the slow to scale with your CP (I think it's a max 30% slow for 1.5 seconds? I don't know the exact numbers) at some point. I have discovered that it's actually really good on Samuel, because your B applies the slow, and so you can keep them in the cloud for a longer time period.

Is going Hybrid effective? I feel like you need a lot of gold and will end up doing less damage... I'm not much of an experienced player, but to me it feels like hyrbid builds would just do less damage.

I'm sure y'all have some pretty awesome skin ideas! Spit em out! I wanna see what cool ideas other people have. I personally want like a High Noon Ringo (I know it's so steriotypical, but it'd be super cool. Maybe for July 4th?) and a Hunter Glaive skin (that makes him look more like a hunter and less like a tribesman).

Frostburn is one of my favorite items in the game. It provides just so much utility to your team as a CP laner/jungler. But I feel like it's not too usefull at the moment. I just feel like it doesn't slow that hard. For example, I personally think that buying Frostburn on Petal (if you even play that rather lackluster champ) is a must. The slow lets your munions get in more hits. And in general, I just feel like Frostburn is a useful item to have on any CP hero. It provides a healthy amount...

I think CP Joul's not too bad... Her ultimate is game changing, and as long as she jumps at the right time and at the right target, she can be quite lethal.
