FOLLOW ALONG

Want to quickly and easily know what event is ‘HAPPENING NOW’ without doing time zone math? Simply follow the Halcyon Days calendar in the in-game NEWS section of the app. Live events will be gloriously obvious and will be faded out when they conclude.

DAY 1: DOUBLE GUILD FAME WEEK (WINTER’S END)

All matches played with guildmates will earn double Fame. And since 24 hours isn’t enough to really make a dent in those Winter end-of-season payouts, we’re leaving Double Fame on until Spring season starts!

DAY 2: ALPHA HERO REVEAL STREAM

See Vainglory’s next hero played in full matches ahead of her (its?) release. While you’re waiting, read about this warrior created to hunt down Catherine, Kestrel and the rest of the Stormguard.

DAY 3: FINAL TAKA CARD EVENTS

When Spring season arrives, Night Shadow Taka vanishes from the in-game Market. Get your wins to earn your Taka legendary card, then unlock this limited-edition skin before it’s too late! If you’re a few cards short, use the Taka-only ICE Box in the Market. For more details on how the weekend’s Taka card events operate, read this.

DAY 4: PARTY UP FOR GLORY

For 24 hours, get bonus Glory when you party queue:

• Earn double Glory when you duo queue
• Earn TRIPLE GLORY when you trio queue (enter queue as a full three- person party).
• Valid for Vainglory Casual and Ranked games only.

DAY 5: BATTLE ROYALE (BETA) REVEAL

Meet Vainglory’s new game mode, designed for maximum fun in minimal time.

DAY 6: ‘CRAZY 8’ CARDS EVENT

It’s back! The Community’s favorite card frenzy returns. Play to earn guaranteed cards of escalating rarity. Here’s the scoop:

Starting at 5PM PDT, your first eight wins will reward you with guaranteed cards. The more you win, the better and better the cards will get!

• Wins 1-4: Get a guaranteed Rare card.
• Wins 5-7: Get a guaranteed Epic card.
• Win 8: Get a guaranteed Legendary card!

This special card event will end at 5PM PDT the following day.

DAY 7 (PART I): WINTER ICE & GLORY GUILD PAYOUTS!

Collect your guild rewards by opening the app after Update 1.16 is released, then pick up the new hero, new skins or the other surprises in the Market.

DAY 7 (PART II): DRAFT MODE FOR ALL

In Spring season, players at all skill tiers can enjoy Draft Mode in Ranked play. Ban that hero you hate to face. Devise cool draft strategies and comps. Take your Ranked play to the next level and get your highest skill tier ever in Spring. Not sure how Draft Mode works? Check out this video:

Halcyon Days 8-14:Start Spring season off right with Double Fame for all matches played with guildmates for a full week. Get an early start on your seasonal rewards and climb that guild ladder!

EVENT TIMING

The easiest way to know what event is ‘HAPPENING NOW’ is to follow the calendar in the in-game NEWS section of the app. Live events will be gloriously obvious, and events that are done will be faded away.

All 24-hour event “days” begin at midnight GMT time. For you, that means on any given Halcyon Day, a listed 24-hour event will begin at 5PM PDT and run until 5PM PDT the following day.
