Important that the 5v5 jungle experience is just as high-impact as 3v3. It will not just be secondary to multi-lane play.
5v5 will have a three-lane map with an expansive jungle, unique objectives and more of a horizontal orientation.
5v5 will support diverse metas and feature both early-game objectives and objectives for closing out matches.
5v5 will lean more into deep strategy without sacrificing action-packed teamfights.
Map symmetry and ease/consistency for getting over walls is a priority.
The team is looking to evolve vision in Vainglory for both 3v3 and 5v5.
The team will leverage new 5v5 tech and advancements to improve 3v3 Halcyon Fold as well.
The goal is for players to not have to learn a bunch of new stuff for 5v5; however, if there is something that works in 3v3 but feels toxic in 5v5, it will be changed specifically for 5v5 play.
Vainglory advertising is underway and there will be 5v5-specific advertising campaigns.
5v5 is not being designed to "take over" 3v3. Both modes will be fully supported. It will be up to the Vainglory player community to determine which mode is more popular and gets more attention. Where the players go and where the player interest is will be the team's priority.
