First of all, surrendering is only available 15 minutes into the game. Sometimes it takes 5-7 minutes to realise that matchmaking system is making a joke of you once again and the opponent team already owns you at 0:10 with two minion mines taken by them and a destroyed turret on the lane. And then you wait. It's not like you could give up or leave, because you don't wanna ruin the game for your opponents and your own karma; but it makes no sense: those matches aren't fun for both you and your opponents. Sometimes the situation is flipped: I can clearly see that we're owning the enemy team way too early and they have no chance to recover. I feel like disabling the surrender button for such a long time just doesn't make sense and is a sign of weakness from game devs who probably know that the matchmaking system is flawed.

I also want to make a point that requiring the entire team to vote YES for surrender to pass is ridiculous. OK, I understand that 2:1 vote fails, I can live with that. But often times one of the players just leaves the game or gets disconnected or just doesn't do anything and just sits on the base. And I have to continue the game with that AFK player on base when me and the other playing teammate have already voted for surrender to pass.

P.S.
I do realise that if matchmaking was really good and there were thousands of other players online at every given moment, the current rules could've worked. However, it is clearly not the case. I am at karma level 12 with 2 disconnects and zero AFKs that I willingly started on file,
and I am encountering AFK players all the time. I am also mostly matched with players who are either much better than me or much worse.

Sorry... I have not read your post. I will later.. I voted yes for both reasons. I'd also like to add that they should make it possible to just leave the game.

If the player doesn't vote it should automatically pick yes. Also the time should be dropped to 10mins. Playing a mobile game where you have to play for 15mins even though there is no way to win is not fun.

On the flip side, I have been on teams that give up so easy and when I vote NO, I can think of 3 really good examples where my team won. There was one where the Kraken was even inside of our base and our Saw destroyed their crystal because they weren't paying attention.

I've been in hopeless games, stolen Kraken, and won. Give it time and play to win.

If you're truly getting massacred at 10 minutes, you will be out before 15 minutes anyway. That's not completely unbearable. The Broncos had to wait 59:48 to finish a Super Bowl they knew they had no chance in.
