Now everyone knows 5v5 is coming and that meens we will need better commuincation.
Now I dont enjoy a chat feature in vainglroy because u might get killed by typeing but maybe u want it just wanting to see what they think about chat

I think a chat option would be ok. The only problem would be finding time to chat. An on-screen keyboard takes a longer time to type than a normal keyboard, and VG being a 3v3, there usually isnt a lot of time to stop doing something.

It would be nice if they made a chat option but then a quick chat. You know, have a set of sentences or phrases or such that you can tap to say them. It still wouldnt be as communicative as actually typing, but it would do a lot better than pings.

In my opinion, I think chat could be really helpful yet really abused. Yes it would allow for more communication, but some people would abuse when they get frustrated and send rude messages out. This can create huge problems for younger kids that play this game. I agree It would be cool to have pre-programmed chats or 7-8 messages you can type and save to use in game, along with pings.

This will definitely be abused, especially as Vainglory grows, but I think it would help if only people that have Great Karma can chat(if you lose it because your allies downvote you for afking even though you didn't, you will retain the ability to chat for 24 hours).

I think chat when we are locking heroes is sufficient enough to recommend heroes for other heroes
