It is annoying that in every 2nd game I have an AFK player standing around doing nothing.
Penalize them with a 50% Karma loss.
Simply take away 50% of the Karma of their current level. This will make them stop doing it or they will end up with Karma level one only playing with other AFKers.

If this AFK thing continues ... I will soon lose the interest in this game.

One other option is to create Clans or Guilds. So we can play with other active players and just forget about those AFKers alltogether.
Only the Freidnlist grouping does not cut it.

That seems a bit harsh... sometimes things happen outside of people's control. I'd prefer to see escalating penalties for AFK to severely impact the repeat offenders.

15% oh snap!
30% I need to never do that again
60% WTF!?
100% I need to never play a moba again

yeah I've had the same problem with people surrendering as soon as the match starts and I end up either fighting alone or on one occasion with a teammate who was uncooperative and left the lane completely open and just F'd around in the jungle as Catherine while I was playing Koshka who is under no circumstances a proper lane fighter until later levels

Hopefully all of these issues are solved when the skill system levels out. Keep playing and you'll soon get matched with people who are serious about the game.

The problem with a mobile game is you will get people who aren't playing on a stable connection so some of the issues will come down to that. I know I've lost multiple easy to win fights at the train station due to the UKs dodgy 3G signal -.-

Or they could make it to where if a team has an AFK player the game gets shut down to a draw. It isn't fair to have to 3v2 all the time. I'd prefer that to "karma loss" I get the feeling lot of people couldnt care less and rage quit anyway.

That wouldn't work due to the fact that any team who is losing the game could just stop playing and receive a draw.

That's a fair point. Funnily enough at the time of writing I had just been in a match with an AFK'er

The best solution may be to add an AI player if someone drops out mid game. I know that it's not an ideal solution but I too have dropped games even in my house due to internet service issues or incoming calls messing up the connection.

I'm not sure about additional gold and XP, when someone isn't moving for 2+ minutes. Maybe another sort of solution may be "free to leave" game with giving 50% of full game karma to the winning team.

I had the problem today where my internet connection dropped twice. I quit playing after that to avoid further penalty. I think 50% would harsh. But I'm frustrated when im stuck on two man team as well.
