The longest match I've ever had (we're talking over thirty minutes long) was also the greatest comeback, ever.

So it's Catherine (me), Petal and Glaive vs Koshka, Skaarf and another Catherine. As the match evolves we're clearly overwhelmed, with the enemy team quickly gaining control of our jungle as they push me and the other jungler (Glaive) back constantly. Our laner does what Petal can, and we even manage to take out a turret in the process, but soon enough the enemy team gather together and pushes forward, taking out two of our turrets. They are slaughtering us, to say the least, and the overall score easily reflects this.

It's around this time I begin to receive the surrender vote. Twice I get it, twice I refuse it, clinging on to dear life. But then the enemy team gets the freaking Kraken. I sigh and claim surrender myself... but someone else shoots it down this time.

Surprised and a little moved, I rush to base, get a Crystal Infusion and stand right next to our third-to-last turret. The enemy team is nowhere to be seen, and the Kraken is pounding thunderously towards me. My two teammates appear right away and we start pounding on the Kraken with all we got! It's a close call, but we manage to take it out with our last turret at around half energy.

Emboldened, we begin to push back, and to push back hard! We reclaim our mine while Petal pushes the lane, we claim the second mine, then we band together and take out the enemy team a couple times, along with another of their turrets. Around the 25+ minutes mark, we manage to eliminate most of the opposing team and both Petal and Glaive concentrate on the Kraken (I'm dead at the time and eagerly waiting for the countdown, 40 seconds, 30 seconds, 20 seconds....). I eventually return to battle, rush with my Journey Boots to the Kraken (who is about 90% damaged at this moment) and we kill it together!

The Kraken does short work of the enemy's turrets, we wipe out the enemy team (yet not before they kill our Kraken themselves...) and, with one last mighty blow, we explode their crystal.

Final score: 27-20. We lost the scoring, but won the war. And a hard-won battle indeed! Even though at some point the enemy Koshka disconnected, I like to believe this was right after we pushed back fiercely, altough I was so focused in the battle I couldn't really say... It was really all thanks to two awesome teammates and the will to go on against all odds.

Salguod and cristopher, I salute you and can't wait to meet you again on the field.

That enemy team Seemed to be spawning faster and faster everytime and it made progressing harder eachtime. We beat them in kills but one Ace or Kraken and we would've been dead.
