My guide has disappeared. Why?

I was just going to edit my guide but as I went to the editing page, all and everything in my guide has disappeared, and it all reset to the first save. Like this:

I decided to archive the guide and it will take me another while to recover everything. But I posted this thread to let you know what happened if you were wondering about my guide, AND, to let me know what caused this to happen all of the sudden. If you know the cause, and if there's an option to undo this, can you tell me? :(

It actually took me a while to accept that my guide is gone, though.
