I've been thinking on what hero to buy for a long time and got stuck between whether to buy Gwen Or Alpha I would be grateful if you could decide which hero i should buy

Alpha for sure. She is good in most team comps and amazing in team fights if you play her right. Also, Gwen is just a lot harder to learn and master for most people.

Where do you play most often? Gwen if you lane, Alpha if you jungle.

If you can stutter step well, Gwen. If not, go Alpha. Both are great but I think Gwen has a bit higher skill ceiling than Alpha, partially because of her need for stutter stepping reach max potential and also because of her struggling in early game and against most laners. I can't say much to Alpha's strengths or weakness as I have yet to play Alpha much myself.
