1) So, let's get started shall we? Anyhow, Right off the bat, I'd like to mention that I HAVE been in the 1v3 or 2v3 scenario. I DO feel your frustration, and I DO know that there is still hope. In my entire time period in which I have both hated and enjoyed playing VainGlory, I have come across many AFK'ers. Now, in the rest of this guide I will go more in-depth and teach you my methodology towards handling this.

2) AFK'ers leave for a grand variety of reasons. No matter what the reason, they still do not have an excuse. I can understand if you have a real life emergency or event. But leaving because you got killed, OR BECAUSE SO SOMEONE ELSE LEFT, is not tolerated here at VainGlory. Let me assure you, AFK players WILL be punished severely if offenses are consistent and repeated. Someone might even leave because they get bored and don't plan on playing VainGlory anymore. Trust me, there is nothing worse than having to play in the deserter que where basically everyone leaves and gets you a loss. Those who make the game unfair and ruin it for others will end up here, which in reality is a pretty good punishment seeing as they are given about 2 warnings when they leave a game. So before you leave, think about these consequences and why people leave.

3) Whenever a teammate of mine leaves, I personally take it upon myself to stop thinking about negativity and focus on the game itself. You might even carry the team! There are a few things you can do to deal with this, my most effective method is to simply not get upset and think about positive game related things. You can also always surrender about 2 minutes earlier when somebody goes AFK. This feature is great since you don't have to watch your team lose due to the afk for a very long while. Take some time to get used to the idea that not everyone stays and it's just like any other MOBA. Someone will always leave. There is nothing anyone can do. On a positive side, the Devs are doing a great job with this game, and personally I think this game is going at a great pace and just overall superior to other IOS MOBAS.

4) Although your teammates may have left, It's not over! You too can be punished for leaving EVEN IF you have an AFK. Try to stick it out and endure it until you get another game. Besides, the only way to learn is by playing, so take it upon yourself to stick it out and learn a bit more on how the game works and it's mechanics or try out new strategies to win!

5) Don't worry, people who leave ARE punished. You do the crime you do the time right? VainGlory developers have implemented a system in which people who frequently leave games are segregated into a group of people who leave games. This will reduce the amount of people who leave games and make VainGlory a much better game. So, this means you did not lose in vain. I don't know about you guys, but personally, I feel great satisfaction in knowing that deserters do receive a fair punishment.

Here is an example of a recent game in which I used every single tactic stated above, notice my teammate went 0-12 and I had an AFK, so it was basically a 1v3
