What benifets do you gt from using mutlipul teir 3 items? I wanted to use 2 alternating currents but not sure if it is worth it. Do you get the full +50 power +40 sttack speed and the +115% bonus damage or does that double?

The way multiples work, is that any passive perks do not stack. Ability boosts do, though. So 2 ACs will net you bonuses to CP and recharge from both, but only one CP basic attack boost

I was under the impression that lifesteal stacks.

If it's tagged as a Passive, it won't stack. Two Serpent Masks, for instance, gives double lifesteal because the lifesteal is not listed under any kind of "Passive" label. It's why running two Boots doesn't give you double speed.
