sorry, im really not trying to be so salty kellytehuna. i want you and your friends to play against other people and their friends. in a guild. no reason not to. and i want a queue where i get to enjoy what i think is a fun game - pairing up with random people and making it work. i dont want to punish anybody. i just want to play a goddamned solo queue with other people doing the same. thats all.

What they said. is it really good practice for teams to slaughter helpless soloers with no ability to communicate item intentions, builds, etc? i understand they may have to wait a bit longer, but i have to wait fifteen miserable minutes to beg my teammates for surrender, so maybe they could wait an extra 2? just sayin.

yeah, playing against teams in the solo queue is just ridiculous. why dont you just start them with my jungle worth of gold and my first turret destroyed so they dont have to go to the trouble of walking over? maybe take 6 mins off the surrender wait, since that's the over mark? why can't teams and guilds have their own damn queue to nonstop 3 on 3 each other for 47 mins?

I'm sorry to keep ragging, but I forgot one thing about the buy em all strategy - patience. never start without the glory to buy the whole box. If your odds ever get WORSE THAN 15% that you will draw a good card (that means, basically, if you draw good ones early), STOP IMMEDIATELY and save your glory for the next box reset where your odds return to 15%. Bide your time, build your glory, keep going. I actually rejoice at getting all the bad cards out of the way because i get to buy...

you would hope so, but getting good with a hero can take even more than the astronomical number of matches it takes to get to ranked, and buying two other cheap heroes (ringo, cath) to get to try the first hero's skills in ranked matches quickly is pretty common. i agree people should be good with more than one hero/role - in fact, playing other roles and heroes is integral to learning to defeat them (want to know how to kill Cath? Play her and watch how they melt you, then do the same thing)...

its actually pretty easy to beat this from a pay it forward perspective. thumbs up the enemy team always. that way your mean *ss team mates wont affect them by thumbing them down. once your fingers learn to do this, it's pretty quick. the benefit - even if they thumb you down, you will hopefully both be playing in different karma tiers. sometimes the best way to deal with assholes is to get far enough away you cant smell the stink.

lol i understand your complaint about the odds very well, but i think you should do the probability research and check out unrelated events and you should take a larger sample size (so the results from one box attempt are relatively meaningless, just like the one time you win at the casino). no matter what, even though you draw four at once, each card has the same odds of getting pulled, just like numbers in the lotto. so you wouldnt say the lotto is somehow especially unfair because you...

in defense of the lockers, Insta-lock can mean the player only mastered (or at least doesnt get instamurdered with) one hero. i would rather have 3 laners than a good jungle and roam and one hero who cant use their abilities at all. at least we get a solid 12 mins of game time that way instead of cascading horror for 11. :p
