Is this too much to ask? Because there's a huge difference between a tier 8 player & a tier 6 player. i don't mind playing with people way below me on casual, but it's a little unfair on ranked. SEMC wants us to be competitive, but how is this supposed to be possible when I'm getting paired with people nowhere close to me? & yes, I know how to add people & play with them. Good info, however, unfortunately most newbies don't come on to the forums (at least I didn't till i was like 30-50 games in). Also, adagio is a better support than he is a laner; I actually prefer him over any other support. But past that, solid thread, & I hope lots of newbies see this :)

Yeah, I unlocked my first one about a week ago; the crafting system makes it perfect. Unfortunately this thread was pre-crafting, as you can see lol.

More players play casual, since it doesn't affect your rank & you can screw around more on it. The 2 min wait was probably prior to the split between casual & ranked. If it wasn't prior to the split, then I'm not sure. But anyways, yeah, if the wait is unbearable just play casual. Ranked matching is really fucked up regardless

But really though. I almost never buy them when I play support- I usually immediately dive into a fountain, and occasionally an AP or crucible if they're obviously going to make a huge difference in those early-midgame fights. I personally would much rather have the cheaper, team saving defense items that make me a tanky monster & make my team more sustainable than the pricy utility items that either give a speed boost or jungle vision + scout trap damage along with a slight defense buff...
